Health & Hygiene: Healthy Homes, Happy Communities

CREDO has consistently worked to improve the health and hygiene standards of rural and tribal communities in Manipur through a series of focused interventions. Under the banner of Healthy Homes, Happy Communities, the organization conducts free healthcamps and awareness programs regularly, aiming to bring essential healthcare services to the doorsteps of underserved populations.

These camps offer basic medical check-ups, health consultations, and distribution of freemedicines, benefiting individuals who have limited access to healthcare facilities. Special attention is given to women, children, and the elderly, addressing common health issues and promoting preventive care. In addition to medical support, we also distribute hygiene kits, including soap, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, and disinfectants, to promote personal and household hygiene. Community awareness sessions focus on clean drinking water, sanitation practices, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

The program primarily targets remote villages and tribal areas, where health awareness is often low and access to care is minimal. Through these initiatives, we aim to build healthier communities by fostering a culture of clean living, early health intervention, and preventive care, ensuring every household can lead a healthier and happier life
